Creative Innovation
Fusionpolis, a biotechnology facility, aims to make design statement by introducing intricate yet sophisticated exterior and interio designs. Working together with acclaimed WOHA Architects, we came up with a solution to treat the building's main theater and front-house lobby.

Unique Solution



Timber beads were used to screw into innovated VI-SON Foam. These were arranged in modules to form part of an entire acoustic treatment piece that covers the dome ceiling of the entire theater. This feature involved the design and production of all the modules, using an estimated 500,000 beads.

In addition, various walls are lined with 50mm VI-SON Foam that use black fiber glass tissue linings. The combination of VI-SON Foam and black fiber glass tissue has been tested by PSB Singapore (TUV). Results show that the noise reduction coefficient of the product is 0.89-the foam and tissue lining work is to allow sound absorbancy of 89%.

Efficient Solution

Hi-Tech video conferencing room designer Teliris demands the highest standards when it comes to providing the best acoustic solutions for their clients.

Terilis specified the use of the VI-SON Foam as well as the FabriTRAK wall upholstery system to provide for Unilever's video conferencing room.

Creative Beauty

The banquet and meeting rooms of the Crown Plaza hotel demanded a very intricate design for their acoustic treatments. The tropical ambience was themed into the interior design and the task was to treat the walls with fiberglass and upholstered using the FabriTRAK upholstery system.

FabriTRAK'S versatile tracking system coupled with intricate cutting techniques by our installers allowed us to create beautiful profiles to resemble forest-like structures. Foam, upholstery and custom cut glass were used to create the overall forest effect.

1/2 inch and 2 inch FabriTRAK profiles were used, and a total of 4,084 numbers of trackes were supplied to this project.
